Date: July 26th- July 29th

Time: 1st Group (3rd-4th Grade) 2-4pm | 2nd Group (5th-6th Grade) 4:15-6:15pm | 3rd Group (7th-8th Grade) 6:30-8:30pm

Location: Hamlin Middle School

*Limited to 100 Athletes Per Group

Cost: $200.00

Skills Covered:

Quarterbacks

Will learn the proper fundamentals and techniques of footwork, ball handling, placement of the ball, as well as pre-and post-snap reads.

Running Backs

learn the proper fundamentals and techniques of ball handling, footwork, blocking and route running. They will also be taught what to look for pre-snap, how to properly pick up a blitz and pass-catching skills.

Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

learn the proper techniques and fundamentals of alignment, steps/depth on individual and combination routes, pass-catching skills, and releases off the line of scrimmage.

Defensive Backs

learn the proper fundamentals and techniques of foot work, ball skills, tackling and man-to-man and zone coverage.

Linebackers

learn the proper techniques and fundamentals of shedding blocks, tackling, and correct positioning in man-to-man and zone coverage.

Linemen

learn proper footwork, hand placement, technique for run-and-pass-blocking, run defense, pass-rushing and more.

CAMP CHECK-IN and START TIME

On the first Day of camp, check-in for the first group will be at 12:30, second group will be at 2:30pm, and third group will have chick in will be at 5. After the first day every athlete must be dressed and ready to go 15min before camp starts

CAMPER PICK-UP

1st group pick up time will be at 4:15, 2nd group pick up time 6:30, 3rd group pick up time 8:30pm.

Field Access

Only Coaches, Athletes, and Volunteers are allowed inside the Field. Parents are allowed to watch outside of the fence. Please be respectful to those around you and keep social distance.

Masks

Coaches, Athletes, and Volunteers must wear a mask.

WHAT TO BRING:

This is a fully padded camp. All campers are required to have the following:

  • Helmet w/ facemask and chin strap

  • Mouth guard

  • Shoulder pads

  • Jersey

  • Football pants with the following pads

    • hip pads

    • tail pad,

    • thigh pads

    • knee pads.

  • Football cleats

*If you are participating in a youth league this fall, contact your youth football organization as they may issue full pads to your child if they are registered to play in the upcoming season.  

 

An official MVP Football Camp T-shirt will be given to each camper at check-in.

REFRESHMENTS

Water will be available to campers during each practice session, and at the end of the last day of camp we will have popsicles for all campers.

MVP AWARDS

At the end of camp, we will provide MVP awards to our top performers for each grade.

-This event is licensed by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U.S.,Inc.

-All participants must have a current AAU membership. 

-AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. 

-AAU Youth Athlete membership must be obtained before the competition begins. 

-BE PREPARED! Adult and Non Athlete memberships are no longer instant and cannot be applied for at event. 

-Please allow at least 10 days for membership to be processed. 

-Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU website www.aausports.org to obtain their membership.
